Does RoboForm fall prey to hidden field attacks?

RoboForm will not fill in any additional fields unless you select to do so. RoboForm also provides warning messages when sensitive fields (e.g. credit card info) have been filled. When Autofill without asking is enabled fields will be filled as soon as the site is loaded. Although this is a convenient feature, it also may fill non-sensitive data (e.g. name, email, phone) that may be hidden. 

To modify these settings follow the steps below.

RoboForm Extension

1) Open your browser and click the RoboForm extension icon. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner. Then, select "Settings" from the menu.

2) Select "AutoFill" from the column on the left. Then, select the "Do not Offer to AutoFill" option.

Windows

1) Click the [ ^ ] button (show hidden icons) in the lower right corner of your screen. Click the RoboForm icon. Then, select "Options" from the menu.

2) Select "AutoFill" from the column on the left. Then, select the "Do not Offer to AutoFill" option. Then, click the "Save" button.

Mac

1) Click the RoboForm icon in the top right of your screen on the Menu Bar. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner. Then, select "Settings" from the menu.

2) Select "General" from the column on the left. Under the "AutoFill" section select the "Do not Offer to AutoFill" option. Then, click the "OK" button.
