How can I uninstall RoboForm?

1. Windows
2. Mac
3. Browser Extension

Windows:

1) Click the Search Bar in the bottom center of your screen.

 

2) Search for "Add or remove programs" and select it to open the Installed Apps menu.

 

3) Search for "RoboForm" using the search bar at the top of the page. Click the 3 dots on the right of the RoboForm application and select "Uninstall" from the menu.

 

4) The Uninstalling RoboForm window will appear.

• If you would like to uninstall the RoboForm application but keep your RoboForm User Data on this computer, leave the "Remove all Logins, Identities, Safenotes (RoboForm User Data) from this computer" box blank.
• If you would like to uninstall the RoboForm application and for your RoboForm User Data to be removed as well , check the "Remove all Logins, Identities, Safenotes (RoboForm User Data) from this computer" box.

 

5) If you decided to check the "Remove all Logins, Identities, Safenotes (RoboForm User Data) from this computer" box, you will be prompted to confirm that you would like to delete your RoboForm User Data. Click "Yes" on this window.

 

6) Click the "Uninstall" button on the next window.

RoboForm Uninstaller

It will download a file called "rfwipeout.exe." Open and run this file to uninstall RoboForm.

NOTE: If clicking this link does not automatically download "rfwipeout.exe," right click the link and select "Open link in new tab."

If you did not close all browser windows when uninstalling RoboForm then the file RoboForm.dll will remain locked until a computer restart is completed. 

 

 Mac:

NOTE: The RoboForm for Mac uninstaller is located within the setup file you downloaded to install the RoboForm Desktop Application. If you can't find the setup file, follow these instructions to redownload it.

1) Go to the RoboForm Download page here.

Ensure you are on the download page for Mac. Then, click the green "Install" button underneath your recommended download. The setup file will be downloaded onto your computer.

 

2) Once the setup file is downloaded, a link to it displays in the downloads menu of your browser. Click the setup file.

 

4) The installer window will appear. Double-click the Uninstall RoboForm icon.

 

5) Apple will request permission to open the uninstaller. Click the blue "Open" button.

 

6) The Uninstalling RoboForm window will appear.

• If you would like to uninstall the RoboForm application but keep your RoboForm User Data on this computer, leave the "Wipeout RoboForm Data" box blank.
• If you would like to uninstall the RoboForm application and for your RoboForm User Data to be removed as well , check the "Wipeout RoboForm Data" box.

After making your selecting, click the blue "Uninstall" button.

 

7) The uninstaller will confirm that RoboForm has been uninstalled. Click the blue "Close" button on this window.

 

Browser Extension:

After uninstalling RoboForm's desktop application, you may also want to remove the extension from your browser. To do so, follow these steps:

Chrome:

1) Open Chrome and right-click the RoboForm extension. Then, select "Remove From Chrome" from the list of options.

 

2) Chrome will prompt you to confirm this action, click the blue "Remove" button on this prompt.

 

Firefox:

1) Open Firefox and right-click the RoboForm Extension. Then, select "Remove From Firefox" from the list of options.

 

2) Firefox will prompt you to confirm this action, click the blue "Remove" button on this prompt.

 

Edge:

1) Open Edge and right-click the RoboForm Extension. Then, select "Remove From Microsoft Edge" from the list of options.

 

2) Edge will prompt you to confirm this action, click the blue "Remove" button on this prompt.
