How to add the RoboForm extension to your browser(s)

6. Adding Extension to Safari without having RoboForm installed

 

Add RoboForm to Chrome 

1) Visit the RoboForm Download page. Click the "Browsers" tab, and then click the green "Install" button on the right of your recommended download.

 

2) You will be taken to a page explaining your next steps for installation. Shortly after being taken to this page, you should be redirected to the Chrome Web Store to download the RoboForm extension. If you are not redirected, click the link at the bottom of the page.

 

3) Click the blue "Add to Chrome" button. 

 

4) A window will appear prompting you to add RoboForm. Click the "Add extension" button. 

 

5) The RoboForm extension has now been added to your Chrome browser. You will also need to Pin the extension. To do so, select the Puzzle icon, and then select the Pushpin icon to the right of RoboForm Password Manager. Once RoboForm is Pinned it will display in the upper right. 

 

Add RoboForm to Edge

1) Visit the RoboForm Download page. Click the "Browsers" tab, and then click the green "Install" button on the right of your recommended download.

 

2) You will be taken to a page explaining your next steps for installation. Shortly after being taken to this page, you should be redirected to the Microsoft Edge Add-Ons Store to download the RoboForm extension. If you are not redirected, click the link at the bottom of the page.

 

3) Next, click the blue "Get" button to the right of the result for "RoboForm Password Manager"

 

4) A window will appear prompting you to confirm that you would like to add the extension, click "Add Extension" and the extension will be added.

 

5) RoboForm is now attached to your Edge browser.  You will also need to Pin the extension. To do so, select the Puzzle icon, and then select the Eye icon to the right of RoboForm Password Manager. Once RoboForm is Pinned it will display in the upper right. 

 

 

Add RoboForm to Firefox

1) Visit the RoboForm Download page. Click the "Browsers" tab, and then click the green "Install" button on the right of your recommended download.

 

2) You will be taken to a page explaining your next steps for installation. Shortly after being taken to this page, you should be redirected to the Mozilla Add-Ons Store to download the RoboForm extension. If you are not redirected, click the link at the bottom of the page.

 

3) Click the "Add to Firefox" button. 

 

4) A window will appear requesting your permission to add the RoboForm extension. Click the "Add" button. 

 

5) A window will appear confirming that the extension was successfully added. Click the blue "Okay" button.

 

6) After the extension is installed, click the RoboForm extension icon in the top right of your browser. A privacy dialogue window will appear. Enable both the options in this window in order for RoboForm to be able to collect the data it requires. Then, click the green "Continue" button.

 

7) RoboForm has been added to Firefox. 

 

NOTE: If the RoboForm extension does not appear in the Firefox toolbar, click on the Puzzle Piece icon in the upper right, click the Gear icon to the right of RoboForm Password Manager, and select the "Pin to toolbar" option.

 

 

Add RoboForm to Opera

1) Visit the RoboForm Download page. Click the "Browsers" tab, and then click the green "Install" button on the right of your recommended download.

 

2) You will be taken to a page explaining your next steps for installation. Shortly after being taken to this page, you should be redirected to the Chrome Web Store to download the RoboForm extension. If you are not redirected, click the link at the bottom of the page.

 

3) Click the "Add to Opera" button.

4) Then on the next page select "Add extension"

 

5) RoboForm will then be available as an extension via Opera. You will also need to Pin the extension. To do so, select the Cube icon, and then select the Pushpin icon to the right of RoboForm Password Manager. Once RoboForm is Pinned it will display in the upper right.

 

 

Add RoboForm to Safari (Mac Only)

NOTE: You will first need to install RoboForm for Mac.

1) Open Safari. In the upper left corner of the Menu Bar, click the "Safari" dropdown menu. Then, select "Settings" from the menu.

 

2) Select the "Extensions" tab. Then, check the box labeled "RoboForm"

 

3) You will be prompted to confirm that you would like to enable the RoboForm extension. Select "Turn On"

 

The RoboForm browser extension for Safari will now be enabled.

 

Add RoboForm to Safari Without Having the Desktop Application Installed First

1) Open Safari. In the upper left corner of the Menu Bar, click the "Safari" dropdown menu. Then, select "Safari Extensions" from the menu.

 

2) Enter "RoboForm" in the search box in the left corner. Then, select the install button (or cloud download icon, if you have previously installed RoboForm) on the right to install/update to the newest extension.

 

3) Then select "Open"
