From time to time, conflicts can occur when your RoboForm data has been changed locally on a computer/mobile device and those changes have not yet been synchronized to RoboForm Online OR if the changes were made via your Account and were not yet synced to your devices.
To resolve Sync Conflict prompts, choose the appropriate path below.
You know which file is correct:
- If the local data is correct/the most up-to-date, choose the "Files from this computer win" option. In doing so, the local data will overwrite the RoboForm Online data.
- If the data in your RoboForm Online account is correct/the most up-to-date, choose the "Files from server win" option. In doing so, the Online data will overwrite the data on the local computer.
You are unsure which file is correct:
If you are unsure which data is going to be affected, you can review the information prior to resolving the conflict. To do so, click the "Show details" drop-down from the conflict prompt.
On this screen you can dictate which direction to push your information. You will see a computer icon and a RoboForm cloud icon. Underneath the icons will be arrows pointing to the left and right.
For the RoboForm Online/Files from server to win: Click the arrow pointing left to overwrite the local copy of your data, and then click the "Sync" button.
For the local copy/Files from this computer to win: Click the arrow pointing right to overwrite the RoboForm Online copy of your data, and then click the "Sync" button.
RoboForm will present you with a confirmation message once the sync is complete.
