How to enable and use iOS native AutoFill with RoboForm

iOS includes support for third-party password manager apps to AutoFill Logins. Before proceeding, verify that you are using iOS and the latest version of RoboForm for iOS. 

 

Enabling in-app AutoFill on your iOS device

1) Open the "Settings" app.

2) Scroll down and tap the "General" option. 

3) Select "AutoFill & Passwords" from the menu.

4) Toggle "AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys" to the ON position, and select the RoboForm option under the "AutoFill From" section.

NOTE: To avoid password saving and filling issues, we recommend that you disable the iOS "Passwords" option.

5) You will be prompted to input your Biometric ID or your PIN. After inputting, a screen will display confirming that AutoFill is now enabled.

Using RoboForm to AutoFill within a browser

RoboForm Browser

1) Using the RoboForm browser, navigate to the sign in page of the site that you would like to log in to.

The RoboForm AutoFill icon will appear next to the username or password field. Tap this icon, and then tap the Login you wish to use.

2) RoboForm will automatically fill and submit your login credentials.

Safari or Another Browser

1) In your browser app, navigate to the site which you would like to log in to. Go to the sign in page and tap inside of the username or password field. You will be prompted to log in using your saved RoboForm Login. Tap the blue "Fill Password" button which will appear at the bottom of the screen.

2) You will be prompted to enter your Touch ID or your PIN.

3) RoboForm will automatically fill and submit your login credentials.

Using RoboForm to AutoFill within an app

1) Open the app that you would like to log in to. Go to the sign in page and tap inside of the username or password field. You will be prompted to log in using your saved RoboForm Login. Tap the blue "Use Password" button which will appear at the bottom of the screen.

2) You will be prompted to enter your Touch ID or your PIN.

3) RoboForm will automatically fill and submit your login credentials.
