NOTE: RoboForm's Data Breach Monitoring feature is only available through the Security Center on the desktop Start Page. It is not yet available on our mobile applications but will be added in a future update. Currently, you can monitor up to a maximum of 5 emails.
To set up and use Data Breach Monitoring with RoboForm, follow the steps below:
1) Go to the RoboForm Start Page.
Click "RoboForm Tools" in the bottom left corner, and select "Security Center" from the menu.
2) In the Security Center, click the "Data Breach Monitoring" tab. Then, click the "Add Email" button.
3) Input the email you would like to begin monitoring and click the blue "Add Email" button.
4) You will receive a prompt asking you to allow a verification code to be sent to the email you would like to set up Data Breach Monitoring for. Click the blue "Send verification email" button on this message.
5) Input the code you received in the verification email.
6) RoboForm will begin monitoring for data breaches. From now on, if RoboForm detects breaches containing data connected to your email you will see them listed here.
7) If you see a data breach listed in the Data Breach Monitoring tab, click the email with the breach.
This will display a list of breaches containing a Breach Date, Breach Description, a list of the types of data compromised in the breach, and a recommended action for improving your security.
In the example below, RoboForm recommends that you change your password for the affected account using the RoboForm Password Generator.
Click here for our tutorial on using the RoboForm Password Generator.
After completing the recommended action, you can click the 3 dots in the upper right corner of a Critical Compromised Data item and select "Mark as resolved" to move it to Non-Critical Breach status.
NOTE: To remove an email from the Data Breach Monitoring tab, hover your mouse over the email and click the 3 dots on the right. Then, select "Remove" from the menu.
