NOTE: RoboForm's Data Breach Monitoring feature is only available through the Security Center on the desktop Start Page. It is not yet available on our mobile applications but will be added in a future update.
RoboForm's Data Breach Monitoring scans for data breaches containing your email addresses and personal information using the Have I Been Pwned (HIBP) database. When you add an email address to monitor, we check if it appears in known data breaches.
For each breach, you'll receive information about what types of data were compromised. Neither RoboForm nor HIBP stores the actual stolen passwords or personal data, ensuring your privacy.
If your information is detected in a breach, RoboForm alerts you so you can take protective action. We categorize breaches into:
- Critical – Breaches that include passwords, credit card numbers, bank accounts, PIN codes, and Social Security numbers (requiring immediate action).
- Non-Critical – Breaches that exposed other personal information such as email addresses, names, phone numbers, IP addresses, usernames, or physical addresses.
