How to Enable and Use Passwordless Unlock

The Passwordless Unlock feature uses passkeys to let you securely access RoboForm using your face, fingerprint, or PIN instead of typing your master password.

Windows

1) Open your browser and click the RoboForm extension icon. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner. Then, select "Settings" from the menu.

2) Select "Log In & Security" from the column on the left. Then, click the "Passwordless Unlock" option.

3) Click the blue "Add Passkey" button.

4) You will be prompted to enter a PIN or other identification method. In this example, a Windows Hello PIN is used.

5) You will receive a notification that the Passkey has been saved.

6) From now on, when logging into RoboForm, you will be able to use your newly saved Passkey to log in.

Mac

1) Open your browser and click the RoboForm extension icon. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner. Then, select "Settings" from the menu.

2) Select "Log In & Security" from the column on the left. Then, click the "Passwordless Unlock" option.

3) Click the blue "Add Passkey" button.

4) You will be prompted to choose where to save your passkey. In this example, a Chrome profile is used.

5) You will be prompted to confirm the passkey creation. Click the blue “Continue” button.

6) You will receive a notification that the Passkey has been saved.

7) From now on, when logging into RoboForm, you will be able to use your newly saved Passkey to log in.
