How to restore your Master Password - iOS

If you use RoboForm on an iOS device and forget your Master Password, you can regain access to your data by using the Master Password Restore feature.

NOTE: To enable and use the RoboForm Master Password Restore feature, you must have Face / Touch ID enabled on your iOS device. Click these links for tutorials on how to enable Touch ID and Face ID on iOS.  

How to enable:

The RoboForm Master Password Restore Feature is enabled by default if you have Face / Touch ID enabled in your RoboForm app. To confirm, open the RoboForm app and go to Settings -> Security. On the Security page, ensure both Face / Touch ID and Master Password Restore are enabled. 

How to use: 

1) In your RoboForm iOS app, tap the Menu (3 Dots) in the upper right corner. Then, tap "Settings" and select "Security" from the menu.

2) Tap "Restore Master Password" under Master Password Restore.

3) RoboForm will present you with a screen notifying you that the new Master Password you create will have to be used on all other devices you use RoboForm on. Tap "Change my Master Password" button.

4) Enter and confirm your new RoboForm Master Password, tap "Create New Master Password" button, and on next screen tap the blue "Get Started" button.
