When upgrading to Windows 10, domain users may experience some complications with the RoboForm user environment. Following the system upgrade, when accessing RoboForm, they may be required to enter their old Master Password even if he/she has the "Don't ask for Master Password"option turned on.
To preserve the user environment, we must have the following files from the Windows machine prior to the Windows 10 upgrade:
1. RoboForm profile with saved Master Password in mpps*.rfo file (located at relevant sub-folder of %localappdata%\RoboForm\
2. Previous user security files located at %appdata%\Microsoft\Protect, %appdata%\Microsoft\Crypto and %appdata%\Microsoft\SystemCert
In order for RoboForm to decrypt and to use old saved Master Password, current domain users data should be replaced with the information described above.
Once the data is replaced, the Master Password will be successfully decrypted and RoboForm will automatically log in without asking for the Master Password (if the option "Don't ask for Master Password" is checked).
