Why am I unable to share data?

Users will receive a "The command is prohibited by policy" error when attempting to share RoboForm data using the sharing feature when the "Disable RoboForm File Sharing" policy is enabled. This policy is enabled by default when a RoboForm for Business company is created.

The optimal way to share data in RoboForm for Business is through groups. Groups allow users to share their RoboForm data with other users within their RoboForm for Business company. For more information about groups click here.

RoboForm for Business company administrators can disable the "Disable RoboForm File Sharing" policy by following these steps.

1) From the RoboForm for Business administrator console found here, open the Policies tab and navigate to RoboForm Data.
 

2) In the User side sharing section disable the "Disable sharing" policy.

3) Click Apply.
