Deploy RoboForm using Intune

RoboForm Intune Deployment

Microsoft Intune allows applications and web browser extensions to be deployed automatically to any number of users in an organization. This article will cover how to setup RoboForm as a new app in Intune to deploy RoboForm to any device managed by Intune.

 

Add the RoboForm app to Intune

 

1) Download the Intune application preparation tool found here, as well as the RoboForm MSI installer found here. Use the following article to convert the RoboForm installer to a .intunewin file which will be uploaded to Intune in a later step.

2) Open the Intune management page and select Apps.

 

 

3) Navigate to All Apps and select Add

 

 

4) Set the app type to Windows app (Wind32) and click Select

 

 

5) Click 'Select app package file'

 

 

6) Use the folder icon to select the RoboForm .intunewin file prepared in step 1. Once the file has been selected click OK.

 

 

7) Add any additional details needed to the app's information. The only required field is the publisher field which should be set to Siber Systems. If the application should be deployed with any command line arguments included they can be added to the Command-line arguments field, available arguments can be found here. Once the app information has been filled in click Next.

 

 

8) Under Detection rules set the Rules format to "Manually configure detection rules" and select Add

 

 

9) The detection rule can be successfully configured in a number of ways depending on your specific environment. The following is an example of a generic detection rule that will work in any environment.

Set the Rule type to File

Set the Path to C:\Program Files (x86)\Siber Systems

Set the File or folder to AI RoboForm

Set the Detection method to File or folder exists

Set Associated with a 32-bit app on 64-bit clients to Yes

Click Ok

 

 

9) Under Required select Add Group. See Intune's documentation for information on deploying the app to user groups and device groups. Once a group has been selected click Next.

 

 

10) When ready, click Create to save the app and deploy it to the assigned groups.
