How to deploy RoboForm using Acronis

RoboForm's desktop application can be deployed to your users through Acronis' deployment tool. From Acronis you can use the RoboForm deployment script to deploy and schedule future installations for each user in the company. 

In order to deploy RoboForm using Acronis you will need:

• Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud tenant access with the Advanced Management features enabled
• Permission to create or approve scripts in the Script Repository

Creating a Deployment Script

1. Select the desired tenant from the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud portal.

2.  From your selected tenant click Open Service.

3. Open the Management section and navigate to the Script repository.

4. Create a new script by selecting Create script with Acronis AI.

5. In the script configuration panel on the right configure each of it's fields. Set the desired name, add a description of the script's purpose, and set the status to Approved.

6. In a separate tab or window navigate to the Acronis Software Management page and open the Library. Retrieve the RoboForm deployment script from the Acronis library and add it's contents to this script.

7.  Click Save in the bottom right to finish creating the script.

8. Confirm that the script is configured properly with a test run. Select the newly created RoboForm deployment script and click Script quick run.

9. Use add workloads to select the desired device to run the test on. Set the run frequency for the script to Run Once and select the account the script will be run under.

10. Once you have confirmed that the script is functioning as expected you can schedule the script to run on a regular basis so that new updates are applied to your users and new users and devices have RoboForm deployed to them. From the Management section of the navigation menu on the left select Scripting plans.

11. Click Create to create a new scripting plan.

12. Use add workloads to select what devices the script should run on, set the Script to run to your RoboForm Deployment script, and schedule how frequently the script should run. When ready click create to schedule the deployment script to begin running on your user's devices.
