By default, the RoboForm extension saves new logins for you automatically. To disable this feature, follow the instructions below.
To disable this feature through the RoboForm Extension:
1) Open your browser and click the RoboForm extension icon. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner. Then, select "Settings" from the menu.
2) Select "AutoSave" from the column on the left.
Under the "AutoSave" section, check the “Offer to AutoSave (requires user confirmation)” option if you would like to be prompted to confirm before RoboForm autosaves.
If you would like RoboForm to stop autosaving completely, check the "Do not offer to AutoSave" option.
To disable this feature through the Windows desktop application:
1) Click the "Show Hidden Icons" [ ^ ] button in the lower right corner of your screen and select the RoboForm Taskbar icon in the bottom right-hand system tray of your desktop.
Then, select “Options” from the menu.
2) Under the AutoSave tab, check the option “Offer to AutoSave (requires user confirmation)” if you would like to be prompted to confirm before RoboForm autosaves.
If you would like RoboForm to stop autosaving completely, check the "Do not offer to AutoSave" option.
Click “Save” to save your changes.
You do not need to restart your browser for this change to take effect.
To disable this feature through the Mac desktop application:
1) Click the RoboForm icon in the top right of your screen on the Menu bar. Then, click the 3 dots in the upper right corner. Then, select "Settings" from the menu.
2) Select "General" from the column on the left.
Under AutoSave, check the option “Offer to AutoSave (requires user confirmation)” if you would like to be prompted to confirm before RoboForm autosaves.
If you would like RoboForm to stop autosaving completely, check the "Do not offer to AutoSave" option.
Click the blue "OK" button to save your changes.
You do not need to restart your browser for this change to take effect.
