How to Use the RoboForm Password Generator to Update an Existing Password
In order to update an existing Login to use a randomly generated password:
1) Using the RoboForm browser, log in to the account you want to update the password for and navigate to the page which allows you to change the password for your account. When you reach the "New Password" field, tap the RoboForm Autofill Icon to see RoboForm's suggested generated password.
2) Tap the "Fill" button and the newly generated password will be filled into the “New Password” field.
3) Save your new password.
4) The RoboForm autosave dialogue will appear offering to save the new password to your Login. Ensure the name matches the name of the Login you would like to update. RoboForm will warn you that saving will overwrite your old Login.
Tap the "Save" button.
5) Your Login is now updated and ready for use.
NOTE: If the RoboForm autosave dialogue does not appear, you will need to save your new Login manually. You can view our tutorial for creating a Login manually on iOS here.
