RoboForm for Business users should contact their company administrator about the Master Password reset procedure.
Resetting your Master Password does not affect any active account status or subscription. A new license is not needed when resetting your password. However, resetting the Master password will delete all saved data in your RoboForm account.
Prior to resetting your Master Password, we recommend trying out the recovery options below.
Have you enabled Touch ID or PIN on the RoboForm mobile app?
If so, you can gain access to your data as long as RoboForm is running in the background.
To turn off the sync on the device open the RoboForm App>>Select the three-dotted icon>>Settings>>Account. Then, uncheck 'Sync Automatically'.
NOTE: The Master Password will always be requested upon app launch.
Have you set up an Emergency Contact prior to the password being forgotten?
If so, you can ask them to initiate Emergency Access. Click here for our tutorial on setting up Emergency Access.
If these scenarios do not apply, or if you've exported a CSV of your data, choose the appropriate reset option below.
