Your Master Password contains the key that unlocks your data. It is only accessible by you and is never shared with or stored by RoboForm. As a result, it is extremely important that you do not forget your Master Password as it cannot be recovered. If forgotten, your data cannot be accessed (even by us) and you will have to reset your Master Password and start from scratch.
Resetting your Master Password does not affect any active account status or subscription but it will delete all saved data in your RoboForm account.

Potential recovery scenarios
Have you enabled Touch ID or PIN on the RoboForm mobile app?
If so, you can gain access to your data as long as RoboForm is running in the background. NOTE: the Master Password will always be requested upon app launch.
Have you set up an Emergency Contact?
If so, you can ask them to initiate emergency access.
Have you selected "Don't ask for Master Password"?
If so, you can export your data to a CSV before you reset your Master Password. Once exported, follow the reset instructions listed below.
Have you enabled fingerprint authentication or Touch ID on Windows/Mac?
If so, you can export your data to CSV before you reset your Master Password. Once exported, follow the reset instructions listed below.
